by the flesh of an innocent man
pierced by orders
blindly followed
from the only guilty party
that will never be stained with blood
one fewer in the parks
showing sons how to throw
one less at the games
standing for the anthem,
but the numbers in Congress
stay the same.

I'm definitely not a poet nor do i claim to be but my assignment for Modern European History was to write a poem about war and this is what i have. I really need some feedback cause i want a good grade
